Eastbourne have signed Arlington track record holder Adam Ellis as their new No.1.
Ellis comes into the side in place of injured Kyle Hughes as part of sweeping changes to the line-up.
He has made a strong start to the season as an Elite League reserve at Poole and is an impressive addition to the Eagles one-to-seven.
A further signing is likely to be completed later today.
The new line-up will come into force at home to Mildenhall later this month.
Dan Greenwood guests for Hughes at the top of the order at home to Kent tomorrow and recent signing Ellis Perks makes his debut.
Ellis set the current National League track record at Arlington when he visited with would-be champions Birmingham last season.
Eagles director Connor Dugard said: “Adam was by far the best visitor last year and it’s great to have him join us.”
Dugard added his thanks to Matt Ford at Poole and ex-Eagles boss Jon Cook, now in charge at Ellis’s parent club Lakeside, for making the deal possible.
