Chris Eubank Junior claimed the IBO world super-middleweight title tonight.

The Brighton fighter stopped champion Renold Quinlan in the tenth round.

Referee Howard Foster stepped in with Australian Quinlan pinned to the ropes and taking heavy punishment.

It was called off after two minutes and seven seconds of the tenth.

Quinlan had looked dangerous early on but Eubank Jr, 27, took control as the rounds went on.

The writing was on the wall in the sixth when Eubank Jr attacked Quinlan’s body before switching to his head.

Quinlan was exposed to the same treatment in the ninth round of the world title bout at London’s Olympia.

And when the tough Aussie was pinned against the ropes again taking rights, lefts and uppercuts it was all over.

Victory also saw Eubank Jr claim a record as it meant it was the first time British father and son have both won world titles having followed in the foosteps of dad Chris senior, the former two-weight champion.
