CHRIS EUBANK junior aims to shut up his critics when he challenges Renold Quinlan for his IBO World super middleweight title at London’s Olympia later tonight.

Brighton’s Eubank Jr, 27, has held the British middleweight title and WBA interim belt but has many detractors who claim he has built his career on the back of his famous father’s name who was a two-weight world champion.

But Eubank Jr believes victory on ITV’s new pay-per-view channel will prove many of his doubters wrong.

Eubank Jr told The Argus: “People have been telling me I’ll never be a world champion since the start of my career so this is for them but, more so, it is for me.

“It’s for me to be able to say I’ve done it and once I have there will be so much more to do.

“This will give me the right to go on and challenge for the other world titles.

“People have said I’m skipping the line and don’t deserve to challenge these guys but once I am world champion they can’t tell me anything.”
