Johanna Konta is through to the semi-finals of Eastbourne.
The British No.1 beat 2010 Aegon International champion Ekaterina Makarova in straight sets on centre court at Devonshire Park today to reach the last four of her home event.
Konta, the 11th seed, now faces Czech tenth seed Karolina Pliskova later today for a place in tomorrow's final against Slovakian 12th Dominika Cibulkova or unseeded Puerto Rican qualifier Monica Puig.
Puig is Konta's first round opponent at Wimbledon next week and she could meet Cibulkova in round three.
The Eastbourne ace recovered after Makarvova served for the first set at 5-4.
Konta took the tie-break 7-5 and broke to love at 4-4 in the second set, paving the way for her to finish off the Russian left-hander 7-6, 6-4.
