Ian Chapman is urging Burgess Hill to take their play-off chase right down to the wire.
The Hillians made hard work of a 3-2 win over Herne Bay on Wednesday night after surrendering a 2-0 lead but the victory means they are still in with a shout of making the shake-up as they prepare to face Three Brdges today.
Boss Chapman said: “It’s a real slim chance. We said to the lads before the Sittingbourne game that with ten matches to go we needed to win eight or nine of them.
“We have won three in four so we have six cup finals left. I would like us to stay in the hunt right down to the death.”
Spencer Slaughter, who ran the Brighton marathon last Sunday, Joe Keehan (thigh) and Graham Martin (groin) all missed the win over Bay but should return to face Bridges.
