Eastbourne Borough teenager Ryan Worrall has been named Vanarama Conference South Player of the Month award for March.

Worrall, who turned 18 last week, has helped Borough to a four-match winning streak without conceding a goal during the month.

A product of the club’s academy, Worrall has produced a string of fine performances in midfield despite being the youngest member of the squad.

Worrall said: “It has been really pleasing for me to break into the first team this year from the academy. This award caps off a great month and I am now looking forward to the final weeks of the season.”
