Ollie Norwood wants to help Albion end their Hillsborough hoodoo – and complete a personal hat-trick.

The Northern Ireland midfielder will form a midfield partnership with Steve Sidwell as his club chase their first ever success at Sheffield Wednesday.

Beram Kayal (ankle injury) and Dale Stephens (one-match ban) both miss the match.

Norwood, who played the full 90 minutes in Tuesday’s 0-0 draw at Ipswich, has twice won at the home of the Owls before.

He reckons his current club can help atone for play-off defeat last season by taking the spoils in the steel city.

Norwood told the Argus: “We go there looking to put a few things right from last year.

“I’ve won there twice with Huddersfield, drew there with Reading and lost once.

“I’ve got results up there three times out of four.

“It’s a nice place to go and play. I’m sure there will be a fantastic atmosphere. After last season I think we owe them one.”

Norwood is set to renew the partnership with Sidwell which finished the draw at Portman Road.

They also played the last half-hour as a pair at home to Reading in the League Cup having started the tie in a three with Rohan Ince.

Wednesday go into Saturday’s showdown with four wins from their last five games and eyeing a move into the top six in time for the international break.

They are likely to have left-back Daniel Pudil back from a thigh injury and will probably restore Fernando Forestieri to the starting line-up.

Forestieri was on the bench for the 1-0 win at Blackburn on Tuesday.
