A hotel has been ranked as one of the best in the UK.

A Room With A View in Marine Parade, Brighton, has been named the UK's fifth "Best Small and Boutique Hotel" by Tripadvisor in the Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Hotels 2024 awards.

These celebrate the highest rated hotels in the UK and the world based on 12 months of review data that looked at more than 1.6 million hotels.

Award categories include family-friendly hotels and luxury hotels.

A Room With A View was praised by guests for its "prime location, stunning sea views and friendly staff".

It has a five star rating overall with some 1,600 "excellent" reviews.

One visitor said: "This place is a gem of a find.

"Lovely room, such great value for money. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked.

"The parking outside was a bonus. Would definitely come back here again to stay."

Another reviewer said: "There was nothing to fault with our stay at A Room With A View. A clean and spacious room with a fantastic view."

Prices range from £90 to £168 a night.
