A new walking event kicks off next month.
The Walking Weekend, organised by Eastbourne's Walking Festival team, will be held on May 4 and 5.
The free event offers guided walks through the countryside along a routes that vary in length and difficulty.

Although it is free, tickets must be booked online.

A festival spokesman said: "Brand new for 2024, the team behind Eastbourne’s Walking Festival are bringing you the Walking Weekend.
"Join walk leaders as they take you on guided walks through the countryside and experience all that nature has to offer.
"This event acts as a springboard for the annual Walking Festival in September.
"Explore the wonders of the Downs, wander through Sussex villages and learn about the land beneath your feet."
The annual festival will take place from September 7 to 15.
