A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash at a junction.
The crash happened in Meads Street, Eastbourne, this morning at 10.15am.
A 22-year-old man from Eastbourne was airlifted to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
The helicopter took off from Eastbourne at around 11.38am and landed at East Brighton Park at 11.47am.
The driver of a Renault Megane, a 24-year-old woman from Eastbourne, was not injured.
The crash happened at the junction with Darley Road.
Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant information to come forward to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 437 of 08/04.
