A Brighton ice cream shop has been named one of the most popular in the UK, according to a recent study.
National research of the most popular shops across the country on TripAdvisor and social media found that Boho Gelato was among the best.
The shop, which has branches in Ship Street and Pool Valley, was found to have a high number of excellent reviews from customers as well as one of the highest followings on Instagram and a high rating on Google.
It ranked third in the UK list and was named the best ice cream shop in the South, beating those in Cornwall, Cambridge and Kent.
Seb Cole, owner of Boho Gelato, said: “We do love our customers and we are really glad they love us back.

“We are completely over the moon. We have been going for 13 years now and this proves we are as popular as ever.
“To be recognised in the bigger national picture is great. To be right up there in the top three is amazing because we work really hard and do the best that we can.”
The research by Betway, celebrating National Ice Cream Day this Sunday, found Boho was narrowly pipped by two ice cream shops in Cheshire and Sheffield.
