TWO people are being investigated over reports of verbal abuse and homophobia on a bus.

The passengers are said to have made abusive comments towards another passenger while travelling on the number one bus in Brighton, including homophobic remarks.

Images have been released of the pair sitting on the top deck of the bus. The victim left the bus before their intended destination in order to escape the abuse.

Sussex Police say they wish to speak to the two males pictured about the incident which took place on Sunday, September 11 at around 3.40pm.

Anyone with any information surrounding the incident is urged to report online or call 101, quoting serial 834 of 11/09.
