UCKFIELD town mayor Louise Eastwood joined in with other volunteers to celebrate ten years of Uckfield Phab on Easter Saturday.
The Uckfield Fire Service, which has been a great supporter of the club, was there to provide its own brand of entertainment for the club members and the mayor.
There was plenty of food and a disco to complete the afternoon
Janine Williams, chairwoman and trustee, said: “We were honoured that the Mayor of Uckfield Louise Eastwood joined us for our tenth birthday celebrations. She was also there for us at the start when the club opened in 2007.”
The club is run entirely by volunteers who give up their time to ensure that the members have a ‘Phab’ time.
The club, for disabled children and adults, meets at the Youth Club in Downsview Crescent on Saturday afternoons.
