Eastbourne and Willingdon MP Caroline Ansell went back in time when she visited the 1940s themed Valentine’s Ball at the Ivy House Day Centre.
The centre in Hartfield Road specialises in dementia care and support for families affecting by the condition and Caroline received a tour by Ivy House Founder Jane Lowe.
“It was great to attend the ball and meet some of the people who use the centre and also the staff,” said Caroline.
“Dementia is sadly affecting more and more people as the population ages and it was good to see what Ivy House provides to help people and their families live as fully as possible with this condition.”
